Job Description

 The staff nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame. The staff nurse provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. The staff nurse has appropriate orientation, training and/or experience to be competent to care for the patient age group served.

Preferred Skills

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; possess an R.N. license issued by the State of California, a IV Therapy certificate, and be certified in administration of BLS and ACLS. Should have PACU or ICU/CCU experience.
