Job Description

 The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame. The RN provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. The staff RN has appropriate orientation, training and/or experience to be competent to care for the patient age group served.

Preferred Skills

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; possess a Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California, an IV Therapy certificate, and be certified in administration of BLS and NRP. Must have minimum of one (1) year Labor and Delivery experience, in addition to post partum and nursery experience. Must have taken fetal monitoring class within the last two (2) years.
