Registered Nurse (PACU)
The staff nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame. The staff nurse provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. The staff nurse has appropriate orientation, training and/or experience to be competent to care for the patient age group served. Shift differential is $3.50 for any hours worked between 7:00pm and 7:00am.
Education: Current California license as an RN.
Experience: Three years previous experience in a full service hospital PACU, with the care of patients in all areas with demonstrated leadership abilities.
Certifications: CPR, ACLS PALS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills preferred. Exhibits the ability to organize work assignments and follow through with accuracy. Exercises good judgment, demonstrates initiative, emotional stability, tact and poise. Note: This is not a position open to new grad nurses.
