  • LVMC Hospital, honored with the Gold “Let Life Bloom” campaign award from One Legacy-Donate Life in recognition of the hospital’s efforts to increase staff and community awareness of the need for organ, eye, and tissue donor registration, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, 2016.
  • Named one of the “100 Safecare Hospitals 2014-15” for best overall performance among 3,500 acute care, nonfederal hospitals. LVMC was specifically named for Overall Best Processes of Care; Best Outcomes of Care and Best Efficacy of Care.

LVMC participates in national and statewide quality measurement programs to help us improve the care we provide. These programs assess the quality of care by measuring how well hospitals follow specific guidelines when treating patients with certain medical conditions.
