Lompoc's first Family Health and Fitness Day will take place on Sept. 17, with plenty of free fun field activities, Zumba and yoga, and a host of community vendors.

The outdoor and family-friendly event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lompoc Community Track and Field at Huyck Stadium at Lompoc High School.

Field activities will occur from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Clau Elizabeth Zumba kicking off a high-energy routine at 10:30 a.m. Participants can try yoga with Blooming Energy at noon while making sure to take time to visit a wide array of community vendors for resources, information, giveaways, and more.

The day of outdoor fun is hosted by LVCHO's Healthy Lompoc Coalition, the Lompoc Hospital District Foundation, Lompoc Family YMCA, Lompoc Unified School District, and Route One Farmers Market.

The track is located at 515 W. College Ave.
