Masking

With the end of the California COVID-19 State of Emergency, California Department of Public Health and Santa Barbara Health Officer Orders mandating masking for health care workers in high-risk settings are rescinded effective April 3, 2023.

High-risk settings include: Healthcare Settings, Long Term Care Settings & Adult and Senior Care Facilities, Homeless shelters, Emergency shelters and cooling and heating centers, State and local correctional facilities and detention centers

Individuals may continue to wear masks as a personal preference. It is recommended that those with underlying health conditions, or are unvaccinated, or are at risk of severe illness if they are infected with COVID-19 or Influenza, take extra precautions.

Visitation

Our visitor guidelines have been revised to ensure patient support during hospitalization, with a focus on minimizing the spread of COVID-19 exposure to protect patients and staff.
