Lompoc Hospital District Foundation Colorthon 2021 Raises $24,000

More than 300 people ran, walked, and strolled at the Colorthon 5K at the Mission Club on Oct. 30, raising almost $24,000 for the Lompoc Hospital District Foundation. Participants were sprayed with plumes of dyed cornstarch during the event, creating multi-hued faces and shirts as they traveled the picturesque course.

LVMC Bond Refinancing Saves Taxpayers $5.3 Million

Lompoc Valley taxpayers will see a savings on property tax payments for years to come, following the recent refinancing of LVMC general obligation bonds. The refinancing comes 10 years after Lompoc Valley Medical Center relocated on June 29, 2010 to the newly constructed hospital at 1515 East Ocean Ave.

Comprehensive Care Center Earns 5-stars

Lompoc Valley Medical Center: Comprehensive Care Center has been awarded a 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The CMS ratings range from 1 to 5 stars and are based on quality measures, health inspections and staffing. Nursing homes with 5-Star ratings are considered to be significantly above average in quality.
