Family and Legacy
Lompoc Valley Medical Center has been delivering babies for more than 70 years and is committed to providing you with personalized care while offering advanced technological resources, medical expertise, and educational resources. The dedicated and caring nursing staff at LVMC is here to honor your birth plan and your personal choices.
Because we have been the community’s hospital for more than seven decades, we recognize the importance of heritage and home. We take great pride in delivering the newest “Lompoc Locals” every day in our birthing suites.
Perinatal Services Director Melinda DeHoyos was born at Lompoc Hospital, and the nurse who helped her mother deliver is still at the bedside, bringing forth new lives.
Many of the babies born at LVMC are part of a multi-generational legacy – their parents were born at Lompoc hospital, and often their grandparents and other extended family came into the world in our hospital, cared for by our physicians and nurses.
We value your trust in LVMC.
