Staff Spotlight

Melinda Niemi is a registered nurse who has been on staff at LVMC since the spring of 2016. She works the night shift in the medical-surgical department and is affectionately called by her last name when at work. 

For anyone who brings an infant or child into Lompoc Health – North H Street, Brenda J. Bauldry is a steadfast presence as a Registration Representative in Pediatrics. Hired by Sansum Clinic in 2003, she stayed on when Lompoc Health took ownership of the building last January.

Michael Dixon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in LVMC’s Case Management Department. He was hired in August 2018.

Micaela Zurita is a Clinical Laboratory Assistant working at Lompoc Health Laboratory Services at 1111 East Ocean Ave. She was hired in June 2017.

Armando Rojas is a registration representative at Lompoc Health – North H Center. He has been with Lompoc Health since January, and was previously a Sansum Clinic employee for three years.

Dolores V. Cacho is a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) in LVMC’s Laboratory Services department. She works three-night shifts, followed by a day shift. She was hired in September 2002, and in the second quarter of 2011 was chosen as Employee of the Quarter.

Chaunteel Clark, BSN, is a registered nurse at Lompoc Health – North H Center, in the Urgent Care. She moved the Lompoc Valley in  March from Bakersfield and is happy to be starting her Central Coast career at Lompoc Health. She is pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.

Maycol Orozco is a registered representative at Lompoc Health – North H Center. He was originally hired by Sansum in July 2005 and stayed on with the change in ownership of the facility.

Adrianna Rojas is the Support Coordinator for LVMC’s Family Caregiver Support Network. She was hired in August 2017. The Family Caregiver Support Network (FCSN) is a resource center for Lompoc residents to access education, referrals and supportive services to aid in the delivery of care for their loved ones. 

Cara Sims is a Clinical Laboratory Assistant at the acute hospital. She was hired in April 1995.

Thomas J. Morales is a Plant Operations Assistant at LVMC, responsible for pickups of waste such as routine trash, but also biohazards and pharmaceuticals. He was hired in July 2010.

Registered Nurse Patti Field has been with LVMC since September 1989 and was hired by former Nursing Director Martha Hicks. She is a Perioperative nurse and Charge Nurse for the post-anesthesia care unit. She previously worked for two years in the Emergency Department, working the night shift.
