Ann S. Bockius, MFT
Ann S. Bockius was licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1990. She works primarily with families, parents and children ages 2 to 18. She previously worked for eight years as a preschool teacher and director and for seven years as a Parent Co-Op Preschool director.
She has also taught Child Development for more than a decade at Allan Hancock College. Developing health family interactions is the goal of her work with families.
Ann has been trained to work with anxiety disorders and depressive disorders. She completed training in EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy to work with patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
She has worked with patients of every age level on personal, educational and professional development issues.
She leads groups in Assertiveness training, stress reduction, and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorders. She is available free of charge for an initial consultation meeting.
