Laboratory Director Ann Ladwig was raised in Lompoc and attended Allan Hancock College to become a teacher. In her second year, she switched to science. Ann then attended California State University at Northridge and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry. She pursed her master’s with courses at California State University at Dominguez Hills. She was hired in 1991 at LVMC as a generalist Clinical Lab Scientist and later as lab director.
