New CCC Administrator, Lorraine Jones, MSN, RN

Lorraine Jones, MSN, RN, has been named the new Administrator of LVMC’s Comprehensive Care Center. Most recently, Lorraine was the Director of the Critical Care and Emergency Departments.

Lorraine was hired as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1979 at the CCC. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Santa Barbara City College and began working as a staff nurse at LVMC in 1998. In 2012, Lorraine was appointed as a Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department.

In 2014, Lorraine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and her Master’s Degree in Nursing (Leadership and Management) the following year; both from Western Governors University. In 2013, she was appointed as the Manager of the Emergency Department and then elevated to Director of the Emergency Department a year later. In 2017, Lorraine was appointed the Director of the Critical Care Unit and the Emergency Department.

The CCC is LVMC’s skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facility at 216 North Third St.
