Congratulations to Case Manager Meahgan Skinner, LVN, on being chosen Employee of the Quarter for the Comprehensive Care Center.
Meaghan was awarded the honor during a ceremony on Thursday afternoon. She was described as an “amazing” nurse.
CCC Director of Nursing Kirsten Chipps said Meahgan is an “incredible individual who has gone above and beyond in providing exceptional care, dedication and compassion.”
“She plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our patients, offering not only medical support but also kindness, patience and a reassuring presence,” Chipps said. “Whether it’s comforting our residents and families, or stepping in whenever and wherever needed, she consistently embodies the heart and soul of nursing.”
Meahgan was also said to be hardworking, dependable and always willing to lend a hand.
“Patients speak of her gentle touch, warm smile and unwavering commitment to making every day a little brighter,” Chipps noted. “It is this level of dedication and passion that sets her apart and makes her truly deserving of this recognition.”
Previously, Meahgan was named a DAISY Award recipient in 2023 for her extraordinary and compassionate nursing care. She has been with the CCC for about seven years and is a 1999 graduate of Lompoc High School. She earned her LVN at Santa Barbara Business College.
