In the days since the COVID-19 pandemic began, many residents of our community have reached out and asked how to help Lompoc Valley Medical Center, the Comprehensive Care Center and Lompoc Health facilities during this uncertain time.
At this time, we are gratefully accepting donations of the following items to help our healthcare workers through this pandemic. The items must be unused and in the original packaging, if applicable.
- N95 (NIOSH Approved) Masks
- Isolation gowns
- Face Shields
- Eye Shields
- Procedure masks
- Nitrile gloves
- Disinfectant Bleach wipes
- CaviCide disinfectant wipes
- Hand sanitizer
We are now also accepting handmade/hand-sewn protective masks. The masks will be used for our non-patient contact staff, and for our patient-contact staff (such as clinical workers) to use while they are not at work. If possible, we will be able to provide some masks to the public, based on availability.
We cannot, at this time, accept comfort items such as blankets, toys and books or magazines.
Please check back with us as this situation evolves, as needs may change. Your support is greatly appreciated by everyone at Lompoc Valley Medical Center and Lompoc Health.
