World Blood Donor Day asks “What can you do?” “Give Blood. Give Now. Give Often.”

LVMC supports and promotes the importance of World Blood Donor Day, raising awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products. LVMC also thanks all donors for their life-saving gifts of blood.

In particular, LVMC and its staff will draw attention to the campaign’s theme this year, which spotlights the natural human response to crisis and emergencies. In those times, ask yourself, “What can I do? How can I help?” In the Central Coast zone of earthquakes, fires, floods, car accidents and other tragedies, the community is encouraged to come together in giving blood donations.
