Another honoree was Quality Improvement/Clinical Analyst Danielle Anzaldo, who was nominated as a CAHF Facility Super Star.

At Lompoc Valley Medical Center: Hematology-Oncology, Pharmacy Technician Ed Villapando is quite literally the man behind the door. That’s because, in a busy practice fronted by oncologist Dr. Donna Walker and her staff, Ed is rarely seen by the hundreds of patients he helps. As a pharmacy technician, Ed is responsible for preparing and dispensing chemotherapy and IV medications for patients.

Joe Osegueda is one of the many people who keep Lompoc Valley Medical Center running – from behind the scenes. A 25-year LVMC employee, Joe is a cook in the Dietary Services Department. He’s one of the dietary staff responsible for preparing patient meals, and he’s also often the person coordinating the preparation of 1,500 meals every month for beneficiaries of Meals on Wheels – a service few people realize is provided by the hospital district.
