Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC)

About PFAC

In February 2016, Lompoc Valley Medical Center created a new Patient and Family Advisory Council, a group designed to forge a strong partnership between its healthcare professionals and the community.

LVMC’s Patient and Family Advisory Council includes members of the community, hospital staff, physicians, and administration. The team’s goal is to assist LVMC to improve the health of the community it serves. Members will provide opportunities for learning, influence culture change, raise awareness and help improve patient safety and outcomes.

Our Vision

The Lompoc Valley Medical Center’s Patient and Family Advisory Council strives to work collaboratively with patients, families, staff, physicians, and administrators to achieve optimal care delivery; Improving the health of the community we serve and deliver high-quality care. Through the Advisory Council, the patients and families that we serve will have a voice to help drive culture change, raise awareness, and improve patient safety and outcomes.
