Counseling is the Art of Relationships

The beauty of counseling is that you have a chance to explore aspects of your life that you would like to be different and/or better. Some visits are for relief from emotional distress, some are a request for tools for better decision making, and others are for personal growth. The ability to talk privately in a confidential setting can be very beneficial: a chance for you to listen to your concerns, and benefit from open discussion and new learning to solve life’s dilemmas.

Your counseling goal could involve individual personal counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, group therapy, presentations, and classes, with workable information that will be instrumental in helping create success in relationships.

Anxiety and depression impact a large portion of our population throughout the world. Talking about the issues that affect your life can make a positive difference for you and those you relate to, both in your personal life and with others as you communicate. Growth through assertiveness counseling, either with individual therapy or group classes, builds confidence and success.

Counseling can address substance abuse and addiction and work closely with addiction recovery services. Support for stress reduction, and calming the internal rages, can bring about more peaceful and satisfying existence, with less trauma.

Grief counseling and grief recovery will assist you in moving forward after a loss. We also offer faith-based advice, always with respect for individual beliefs.

Client-Centered Behavioral Therapy, or CBT, focuses on the individual and provides a way forward for your personal growth. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR, addresses Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and helps you move toward lessening and eventually extinguishing the impact of trauma.

Our counseling center offers bilingual therapy. We work with individuals from age 2 to advanced age. We accept most insurance.

We have an art and activity center for children and adults, with emphasis on the therapeutic advantages of expressing yourself with creative arts.

Our offices are private, quiet, and air-conditioned. We can accommodate from one client to large family groups in either individual offices or large conference rooms.

Our staff is composed of therapists with 30 to 40 years of experience. Please call if you have questions about our counseling services.
