Dr. Justin K. Chang is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at Lompoc Health. Raised in Miami, Dr. Chang pursued his medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed his orthopedic surgery residency in Denver. His commitment to excellence led him to Houston, where he served as a team physician for prestigious organizations including the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Rice University, and even NASA during his sports medicine fellowship.
Dr. Chang’s journey took a meaningful turn when he decided to transition from the bustling environments of big cities to the close-knit community of Lompoc. “The thing I’m most excited about is to really just join a community and be a part of a smaller town where I can get to know people and truly feel like I’m contributing and helping,” Dr. Chang shares.
